ALBERNI by Kengo Kuma
Presenting The ALBERNI by Kengo Kuma project located on Alberni and Cardero, the entrance of Downtown from the North Shore. This 188-unit tower features a unique curved design, with a fusion of wood and aluminum panels meant to make a statement of the harmony of both nature and modernity. At the base of the Alberni features Waketokuyama Japanese Restaurant, which has been awarded two Michelin stars in Tokyo—this location will be the first one serving outside of Japan. Developed by WESTBANK, a company known for bringing us ultra luxurious high-end projects in the past—including Shangri-La and Telus Gardens. The building’s architecture is designed by world renowned Japanese Architect Kengo Kuma, who will also be designing the Olympic Stadium for the Olympics in Japan in 2020. The building’s residents will enjoy a private inner garden, wine tasting room, listening (music) room, gym, indoor swimming pool, art gallery and more.
The project, Alberni by Kuma, is currently underway at the Japan Unlayered Exhibition at the Fairmont Pacific Rim.
Message me for any questions of approximate pricing or if you want to sit down and talk about this project in person. Westbank calls it “supreme prime” real estate. The 1550 Alberni Street tower will start selling in MARCH.
